WHAT IS NUTRITION COACHING?

To me Nutrition Coaching is not just about setting calories.  Starting with a detailed on-boarding questionnaire I can learn about your history, current lifestyle and your aspirations.  From here we set goals and design a plan to build habits that support reaching these goals. Through weekly check ins that are either on line or face to face we reflect on the past week and plan for the week ahead so that we continue to make progress and ensure the programme evolves with you.  The biggest things nutrition coaching gives you is knowledge about yourself, about how to eat well and provides support and accountability as you progress.  It's a collaboration between coach and client and is not dictatorial in any way.  Physiology and biology have certain fundamental rules that do not change but through understanding you will see there are lots of different strategies that can be employed to achieve the desired results.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

That depends.  Typically clients stay with me for 6-12 months but it is influenced by a number factors such as your willingness to change, your compliance and adherence to your plan and your individual circumstances.  Changing your lifestyle and building habits takes time - be patient!

 

I'M VEGETARIAN IS THAT A PROBLEM?

I'M NOT INTO THE GYM - WILL YOU STILL COACH ME?

Absolutely not! Nutrition coaching is for everyone.  Plans are completely bespoke and I can cater for anyone - vegan, gluten free, pescatarian - it doesn't matter!

 

Definitely!  Being active is important for your overall health, especially as you age, but it's not a pre-requisite for nutrition coaching.  I've had clients who wanted to concentrate on their diet purely for health reasons - this is perfectly fine.

WHY CAN'T I PAY MONTHLY?

I want clients to get lasting results and great quality coaching. Building habits and lifestyle change takes time and a certain level of commitment which is why I ask for a minimum of 3 months.
